KidSport Regional Pools Program

DLGSC is partnering with targeted local governments to deliver the State Government’s KidSport Regional Pools Program.

The program seeks to increase physical activity and water awareness of children aged 5 to18 years by subsidising the cost of access to community pools in target regional areas

Eligible children can access funding equivalent to the cost of a seasonal pass for pool entry at an approved regional community pool.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the KidSport Regional Pools Programa child must:

  1. be aged 5 to 18 years (inclusive at the time of application); and
  2. reside in regional Western Australia; and
  3. be named on a parent’s or guardian’s valid Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with the child’s unique Customer Reference Number (CRN) visible; or
  4. have their own valid Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with the child’s unique Customer Reference Number (CRN) visible on the card.
Application process

Please contact your local government to submit an application for the KidSport Regional Pools Program.

  1. Check your child is eligible.
  2. Contact our local government office to find out more and to submit an application.
  3. Once assessed and approved, you will receive a pool pass.

One application, per child, per round, can be submitted for the program..
